Local engagement, intelligently connected
Since 2023, Loftwierk has been developing a modern digital platform for SITD that connects associations, events and local information while reducing the secretariat’s administrative workload.
From a simple website to a useful platform
The previous website was dated and offered little added value to local associations. The new public platform combines events, association information and community content in a clear multilingual experience.
Its central objective is practical: relieve the SITD secretariat and reduce repetitive administrative work.
AI-assisted workflows with human review
Incoming event information is primarily extracted from emails and prepared as structured content. Event Scouts monitor association and local event websites, while dedicated Sport Event Scouts follow the relevant federation websites. When association data is missing or insufficient, the system requests the required information, processes the response and presents it to the secretariat for approval.
Connected tools for daily work
The platform includes an interactive agenda, member management and an AI-assisted newsletter workflow. Newsletters are automatically assembled from the internal event database, creating a consistent link between data management and public communication.
The backend is currently used by the SITD secretariat and treasurer. Initial concepts for direct association access are already being explored.
A long-term operational partnership
Loftwierk is responsible for project initiative and management, design, managed hosting, email hosting, security, maintenance, training and support. Accessibility improvements based on WCAG are currently in progress.
